The point of a simulator is to replicate your experience on a physical track and in a track car.

From cockpit positioning to force feedback in the pedals and wheel, what you experience in a sim should be transferable to a track car.

While there are adaptive solutions, there are no solutions which mirror the actual in-car experience on the mass-market. As a race car driver, that made it impossible to practice at home.
